Belle Meade
Early Childhood Program
For boys and girls ages two and a half through kindergarten
At Belle Meade we offer enriching activities that encourage children to be creative, self-confident learners. Our core belief is that respect and confidence within oneself leads to happiness and contentment in the outer world. We strive to enhance each child’s self esteem with an “I can” attitude and by attending to the needs of each individual.
Our class will emphasize active exploration of the many fascinating places offered by the beautiful, natural surroundings of Belle Meade. We are fortunate to have a lively, dynamic outdoor classroom. We will also take field trips that tie into our seasonal curriculum. A school day is a balance of structure and open time, a balance of teacher guided and self-selected activities.
Our head teacher is Lynne McBride. Lynne has an intuitive gift with young children. She leads with her joyful attitude and by having as much fun as her students! Lynne has 18 years experience working and playing with children.
The school program is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 to 12:30. Parents provide snack and lunch.
The program starts September 1, 2011 at the new building beyond the Belle Meade School building.
